Bushmaster
A closeup of a Bushmaster’s (Lachesis muta) scales. In Greek mythology Lachesis was the one that decided the length of a person’s life. They are the largest pitviper in the world, and the largest venomous snake in the New World. They can grow to 12 ft. in length.
