This is an albino Common Cobra (Naja kaouthia). It is also known as an; Indian monocled cobra; monocled cobra; monocellate cobra; monocellate Cibra; and Monokelkobra. This cobra species is the most widespread in the world. It is found all across South and Southeast Asia. Egg-laying takes place in the first quarter of the year. The females usually stay and guard with their eggs. Sometimes the males help guard the eggs.
