This is a Stellion Agamad Lizard (Stellagama stellio) and they are native to Greece, Southwest Asia, and Northeast Africa. They are also known as; Hardim Lizard, Star Lizard, Dikenli Keler, Hardim, Hardun, Kourkoutas, Kourkoutavlos, Painted Dragon, Roughtail Rock Agama, Short-toed Rock Agama, Sling-tailed Agama, Star Lizard, Starred Agama, and Stellion.
This is a Great Plated Lizard (Broadleysaurus major) coming out of its burrow. They are native to Tanzania, Kenya and Mozambique. They are also known as; Sudan Plated Lizard, Western Plated Lizard, Rough-scaled Plated Lizard, Round-nosed Plated Lizard, Braune Schildechse (German), or Sudan-Schildechse (German).
