This is a dandelion or common dandelion seed head (Taraxacum sp.) and it is made up of parachutes and a seed. It is a flowering herbaceous perennial plant. The dandelion is called a weed by most, and a medicinal herb and food by others, at Brown County State Park.
Mock strawberry (Duchesnea indica), they are also known as an, Indian strawberry, or false strawberry. These ARE NOT Wild strawberries, at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.
